So, you’re tired of getting up early to prepare the breakfast?
Take a break and use the slow cooker 🙂

Let’s start:

Slice or cube bread and leave out overnight to let it dry out a bit. Then…

Add more of the mixture and continue, ending with the mixture.
Cover with a clean dishtowel and the lid and cook on high for 2 hours. (for the breakfast it works better with a timer, you can simply add one on the plug if your Crock Pot doesn’t have it as an optional feature)

Bread on the outside of the slow cooker gets crispier, which some people love! If you like your French toast casserole more like the texture of bread pudding, soak all of the bread pieces and cook it 30 minutes less.
